Jon spent many summers with his grandparents in West Townshend

In the 1800s it was a toll road that went over Dallas Divide

They are always on the lookout for quiet

This was delightful because it was exactly the kind of weather he was looking for to gather material for his paintings

Jon captured this “Magic Light” north of Wall as they were heading home one of those special mornings

places to spend time working hard as well as relaxing with friends
