18th Century Iron Pendant Lantern MA Folk Art 18th Century Rolled Sheet Iron Pendant Lantern. The cylindrical body and conical pediment are pierced with intricate decorative perforations, with a flower shaped design to the back sheet. When lit by candlelight, the light scatters from the small incisions in dancing patterns across surrounding surfaces. The lantern incorporates a protruding original glass pane which light floods from, the top of the lantern is hung from a looped strap
